Meet Lucius, a cat who once had a family but was abandoned when they moved, leaving him behind. For nine long months, the neighbour occasionally fed him, witnessing his daily wait on the doorstep of the now-empty home that was once his haven. After his family moved out, he kept sitting and sleeping on that doorstep, clinging to the hope that they'd return.

His eyes reflect a deep loneliness; this poor soul was abandoned and left to fend for himself. His fur, heavily matted, weighs on his skin, bearing scab marks from the pain he endured during these 9 lonely months out on the street. After trapping him, I took him straight to the vet for much-needed medical attention. His teeth are rotten, requiring a full dental extraction, and his infected gums need immediate treatment. Extensive blood tests, fluids for severe dehydration, fur removal, desexing, vaccination, and around a week hospital stay are essential for his recovery.
