We are Comfort Arms Inc., and we are Blessed to be a Blessing!

Our nonprofit journey began in 2021 when our CEO, Georgia, collected 26 bags of coats and clothing to distribute to those in need in Atlanta and its surrounding areas. Her vision extended beyond clothing to include hygiene kits, aiming to address basic needs directly on the streets.

Joining forces with Georgia, T. Hamilton helped expand our mission by providing hot meals and snack bags to combat the pervasive issue of food insecurity. This partnership was fueled by our personal funds, a testament to our commitment to our life’s calling. We owe immense gratitude to a vast network of family, friends, and compassionate individuals who have generously donated clothes, food, and funds to support our shared cause.

Currently, over 34 million Americans, including 9 million children, face food insecurity. In Georgia alone, 1 in 8 residents and 1 in 6 children live with this uncertainty, including many families unable to provide a nutritious daily lunch for their children. We are dedicated to doing our part to alleviate this hardship in Fulton, Cobb, and Cherokee counties.

For 2024, we have set an ambitious goal to provide 20,240 servings to those in need. Through the support of our community and continued partnerships, we are committed to reaching and surpassing this target, one meal and one person at a time.

Our operating expenses are comprised of several crucial elements:

- **Food Supplies:** We purchase a range of non-perishable items including tuna pouches, crackers, bananas, oranges, shoes, instant oatmeal, instant grits, lunch meat, bread, snacks, baby wipes, hygiene products, and bottled water.

- **Storage Needs:** We secure storage facilities for clothing and non-perishable food items to ensure they are maintained in good condition until distributed.

- **Transportation Costs:** Our operations require gasoline for collecting supplies from food distribution centers, delivering items to other non-profit organizations, and transporting our food trailer to giveaway events.

- **Equipment Rentals:** We rent trailers (such as U-Hauls) to transport clothing, tables, racks, and hygiene products to various distribution sites.

All of our efforts are non-profit and driven by God's grace and love. Our connect group, Always Enough, has played a vital role in our community service, contributing their time and resources generously. We are proud to work alongside over 50 committed volunteers from LinkedUp Church’s connect groups.
