Give Back to help Ariel Graduate
Greetings!
My name is Ariel Wagner and I am about to enter into my final term at DePaul University to get my degree in Environmental Studies. As an Illinois native, I have been working hard in Chicago the past 4.5 years to complete my degree by taking numerous field studies classes that will prepare me for a job as an environmental field biologist. I work 2 steady restaurant jobs (and an extra catering job) to work towards my educational goal.
Right now, I am prevented from registering for my last term of classes which I need to graduate. My ability to graduate is being hampered by a large tuition payment ($12,000+) which I have not been able to make due to a reduction in financial aid and coming from a lower income (but very loving!) family situation. Because of this, attempts to acquire private student loans have been denied and I am turning to my neighbors and larger community for help. I'm putting all of this money directly towards my tuition to help me graduate.
I know through my dedication I can achieve this goal because I see the significance that every single donation can make. It's through the power of community that amazing things can happen! I have come very far for my education and I am committed to standing up for it.
I have enjoyed working as a geology teaching assistant through my school and have been fortunate enough to intern with some of the world's best bryologists at the Field Museum, communities that helped me discover that I LOVE science. I aspire to continue my studies and work toward a Masters degree of Environmental Science.
I am incredibly thankful for what I have, and that I have an opportunity to reach out to ask for help --as many people are prevented from doing even this everyday.
I yearn to make a difference in the world by carrying out my passion for science and am asking for any type of contribution.
If you have any donation to spare, whether it's monetary or conversational, I am always open and willing to listen to what you might be able to contribute. Anything you are able to give is very appreciated --even if you might think it's small. It isn't. It's actually incredibly generous! Please if you empathize with my story, feel free to share with anyone you think who might be able to help me reach my goal of graduation!
If anybody has questions about my campaign feel free to contact me through the Gofundme platform.
Thank you for your time.
Warm Regards,
Ariel J. Wagner
