As you know, Brandon is an author and makes his living from books sales. While he is undergoing treatment for cancer he will not be able to write as much. This page is to let everyone know that they can donate to help out with medical and living expenses.
The costs of treatment for cancer can be enormous. And it's not just the cost of treatment. It's the cost of living for his family during the treatment. Since Brandon is unable to continue writing (for now), his family's primary source of income is effectively gone.
