Donation for Accident Victim Cody Freeman

*Update- Cody has been standing/walking with assistance but have no feeling from the knees down. He has a projected release date of February 17th!

Hi, my name is Kammy and I’m fundraising for a dear friend’s family as they recover from her partner’s recent car accident.

On Friday, January 26th, Cody was on his way home from work. While driving on a country road, a vehicle with no headlights pulled out in front of him. Rather than hitting this vehicle, Cody swerved and went over the embankment. He rolled 12 times and was ejected from the sunroof.

Following his accident, Cody was life flighted to Ruby Memorial Hospital. After stabilizing that night, Cody was taken into surgery for his back at 8 am the next morning. Cody suffered paralysis before the surgery and after he has regained some movement! (Thank God) He does have multiple fractions and broken bones including his back, pelvic, and ribs. Hospital staff anticipates at least a week stay there and then and undetermined stay in a physical rehabilitation facility.

Cody is the sole financial provider for his family. Cody and his partner, Michael, will need to maintain their regular household bills as well as the piling hospital bills. Cody and Michael also have a sweet 1 year old, Amelia, to support as well.

Any help for this family as Cody begins his long road to recover would be so appreciated.
