Help Candria Krywko Slay Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer

Candria’s story:

Candria’s late stage 4 ovarian cancer journey began with emergency chemo during her first of several hospitals stays in Scottsdale, AZ over Mother’s Day weekend in 2021.

What was once hoped to be a 3-6 month battle has now evolved into a 15-month warfare with no clear end in sight; Candria was recently diagnosed with brain metastasis of 14+ lesions (small tumors) in addition to her cancer reappearing throughout her lymph nodes and peritoneum.

Due to the the physical and cognitive side effects of chemotherapy and whole brain radiation, Candria has had to accept that she may not return to practice. As many of you know, Candria’s passion for eye care led her to start her own practice, Eyes on Hayden, which, she has had no choice but to heartbreakingly step down from.

Candria, along with her husband Daryn and stepdaughter Sloane have faced many financial, physical and emotional challenges. To state a few, health insurance dropping her mid-treatment (leading to new health coverage costs of close to $3000/month and having to meet two deductibles in one year), surprise medical bills, non-covered (alternative) medical care, travel costs for healthcare, and the roller coaster of everyday life with brain fog, dilapidating headaches, extreme fatigue, neuropathy, muscle and joint instability, etc. And yet while Candria fights to stay vertical, she continues to demonstrate her unwavering ability to find the positive in everything.

As her cancer journey continues with new metastasis, it is time for Candria to seek Western Medicine’s ‘cutting edge’ care at MD Anderson in TX and Cedars Sinai in CA while also pursuing alternative care paths to wellness (which her insurance does not cover).

Candria’s strength and spirit during this difficult time is immeasurable. Even on this literal fight for her life, she continues to demonstrate her passion for life through her smile. Please join me in encouraging and supporting her and her family through the most challenging time of their life. This will be a long road with many, many medical expenses. Please help ease their monetary concerns so they can focus on getting Candria to NED (no evidence of disease). Thank you so much <3

Lots of love,
