Single Mom in URGENT Need of Financial Assistance

Hi, my name is Brittany. I am a single mother of two children who is in need of some help. It has been hard supporting myself and my kids alone. I'm building this fundraiser to assist with paying for car repairs as my car is a reliable source of transportation to help my two children and me. The mechanic will not release my car until I can pay for the repairs in full (which I understand, but I don't have the $1500 needed to get my car back on the road). A little more about me: I work two jobs. One is away from home, and the other is working from home, and even though I work from home; I still have to find a way to take my children to daycare so that I will be able to work, which usually does not work out most days but I am doing the best that I can. I grew up as a foster child, so many things don't come easy. I put in twice the effort, and I always make sure that I am working twice as hard in all aspects of life, but sometimes, life has a way of throwing punches that you can't catch. I have no family and very little support. No one else to look to for help but myself. One of my children requires extra attention, meetings, and appointments due to recent concerns. This is one of those times for me. This financial issue began after paying for car repairs which was the amount of rent, and then a day later, my car was back in the shop. By then, I knew that catching back up with finances would be hard. This fundraiser is to help me obtain safe and reliable transportation. I have been without my car for two going on three weeks and I need to get it back on the road so I can attend to my work and my family. All funds received will be used to pay for my car repair expense and maintain stability for my family. Single moms can do it all, but sometimes we need help. If I am unable to obtain the funds to get my car back july 18th; I will no longer have the option to get it back and will have to look into purchasing a brand new car that I will then need a downpayment for which will be another financial burden.

I am reaching out to the world because I know in my heart that I cannot do this alone, but I have been for a very long time. Anyone who understands and would be willing to assist in getting me above water; please help. I pray that one day it will be my turn to give and I will do so without a second thought.
