Donation in memory of Mike Campanelli

Mike tragically and unexpectedly passed away last week at the age of 39, leaving behind a beautiful family. His fiancée Sarah, his 3-year-old daughter Madysen, and his stepson Dylan.

We are raising this money to help support Mike's family through this impossibly difficult time.

Mike cared deeply about his family, friends and employees and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He was always willing to stop what he was doing or go above and beyond to help someone in need. Mike always had a thirst for knowledge and was so full of positive energy. So much so, that he was one of the inspirations when developing one of our Company values at CMC, “Bringing the Energy”. Mike always made time to Facetime with the little love of his life, Mady, every day while at work. Mike certainly lived his life to the fullest, whether he was tinkering with his truck or remote-controlled cars, skydiving, racing corvettes, enjoying time with his family at the Jersey Shore, fishing, learning how to install EV chargers, etc.

Mike was a great dad, a great friend, a great leader and just an all-around amazing human being. Speaking for all of his friends, he’ll be missed terribly.

Mike's final gift, and a true testament to his character and willingness to give, was the first organ donor of 2023 out of Waterbury Hospital. He saved the lives of two 40-year-old males and one 60-year-old male with the gift of both kidneys and lungs. Mike's amazing family was informed by the Gift of Life Foundation that only 1% of the population is able to donate as he did!
