Donation in Memory of Teages Habte Biemnet

Dear Friends and Community,

It is with profound sorrow that we share the news of my beloved brother, Teages Habte Biemnet, who passed away on September 8, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Teages was born on October 28, 1981, in Halibentel, Eritrea. After a long and challenging journey through Sudan, he finally moved to Canada at the end of 2021, settling in Victoria, BC.

Teages fought hard through his illness, but sadly, we lost him too soon. During this challenging time, my family and I are reaching out for your support to help cover the costs of repatriating his body to Eritrea and providing him with a respectful funeral. The expenses for transporting his remains and the services at the funeral home are beyond what we can manage on our own.

We humbly ask for any assistance you can provide, whether through a financial contribution or by sharing this message with others who can help. Your generosity during this difficult time would mean the world to us as we work to honour my brother’s memory and fulfill his final wishes.
