Donation in Support of the Randall Heaps Family

We're gathering funds to support Carissa Heaps after the recent passing of her husband and lifelong sweetheart, Randall Heaps, at the young age of 61. The last several years have been a heartbreaking and heavy experience for Carissa as she loved and took care of Randy during his rapid decline through Early-onset Alzheimers. This diagnosis was given to Randy very early in life during his mid-50's, and the nature of the disease is that it progresses very rapidly. The complications of these declines creates a major burden on the caretakers of these wonderful individuals---it was no different for Carissa's loving care of Randy over the last few years.

Now that Randy has passed away, it is our desire to open up an opportunity for the community who love Carissa and Randy to provide some financial support during this difficult time. During the last period of Randy's life, Carissa pursued specialized Alzheimers care in Arizona, during which Randy passed away. Funds will be used for the transport of Randy's body back to Idaho, funeral services, travel support for Carissa and her immediate family for the funeral services, and anything leftover will support Carissa for a period of time after the funeral services.
