Donations 4 “the DOGue” Salon
Dear friends and DOGue family,
We are all facing challenging times and much distress due to the COVID-19 / Coronavirus pandemic. As a small business owner it is especially disheartening to see all of the years (27 to be exact!) of hard work, passion and commitment to both my clients and employees be completely devastated in a matter of weeks.
Just when I thought there might be a small chance of hope with the grant and loan programs put forth by the government, that was quickly deadened by the news that Well Fargo Bank (the salon’s business banking institution) is making it extremely difficult/NOT making it possible for small businesses to apply for the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program). Their online application process has not been available all weekend (since April 3rd when the program “rolled out”) and hand delivering the application is met with lines of other angry, confused and desperate business owners seeking the same assistance and answers. Only to be turned away with a vague explanation of why no more loan application were being accepted.
That is when it truly got real to me, that I could very well loose it all by the time this “shelter in place” is lifted. I have never been in a position not to be able to pay my bills, rent, payroll and basic necessities needed to survive day to day. But this situation has me extremely nervous about whether or not “all about the DOGue salon and spa” will be able to continue on the other side of this mess. We pride ourselves on providing excellent grooming service to our canine (and feline) friends. And we love our clients like family. We are a real staple in our community...
There have been some amazing clients and friends that have asked how they could help with donations during these uncertain times. I would love nothing more then to say with confidence that “all about the DOGue” will be ready to hit the ground running when we can all get back to work again...
with your help, this can and will be possible. I have faith!
Thank you in advance for you help! Please stay safe, we can get through this!
