The devastating loss of Charles in December has presented some immediate emotional, financial and now legal challenges for us (his Mom Beth and Brothers Cedar and Kaya).

We started this page in early January to help with costs associated with his local memorial and other memorial events. Your generosity gave us the space and ability to create a beautiful local event and, travel to the Denver Memorial and bring many of his closest friends along as well. This would not have been possible without your help. 

Our original goal was to move quickly from that phase into creating a foundation in Charlie's honor, but we were naive. Because Charlie died without a will, our days are now filled with lawyers, accountants, managers and a long list of legal issues to problem solve and navigate. Our dreams are on hold until all of this is resolved. 

We still hold the dream of building a safe haven for artists to create, heal and recharge away from the road. Your support will help us through this immediate phase of the process and eventually help us bring to life a space he would be proud of.
