Donations for Daniel Medel Funerals Expense

Donation protected
Hello everyone my name is Stephanie Medel, the niece of Daniel Medel and I'm fundraising to cover my uncles funeral expenses. Everything happen so fast is something that I still can’t believe. He just passed away yesterday August 11, 2024. For about a year he had been suffering from a liver cirrhosis . He had been in and out of the hospital for quite some time. the nurses told him and my family that he would mostly likely get the chance for a liver transplant since he had suffered from a liver disease. He was told that he would be sent to UCSF for a transplant in San Francisco. My family would go every weekend to see if he would qualify for a transplant. My family and I were worried that he wouldn’t get the chance. Less than a month they told us he was going to be sent back to Kaweah Hospital to get better and be closer to family but it got taken in a wrong turn he had gotten worse here and wasn’t able to go back to San Francisco. On Saturday in the afternoon my mom and i had gone to visit him it was so unexpected, one of nurses told us before we walked in that he wanted to be alone and didn’t want to take any of his medication. Once we walked it we only had hope that he was gonna be okay. i got a phone call from my dad saying was taken from us to soon, many knew him as el dormido. A wonderful guy who always puts a smile on our face. In such a difficult moment my family and i are reaching out for help so that we are able to lay our loved one to rest. A little goes a long way and anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
We also would like to thank everyone for all the love and support that we have received in these days. We thank you for sharing and know that my uncle Daniel truly loved by not just his family but by many friends.

Thank you all for the support and god bless every one of you.
