Many of you have sent your condolences, and expressed a desire to show your respect for my husband, Frankie Clarke, and our family.  He was a great friend, teacher, father, husband and musician.  While I appreciate your many expressions of kindness, my main concern as we go forward is to provide education and financial security for our 3 children, Zoe (20), Nina (17) and Nicolas (15).  I am thankful for every person who has reached out to us, whether through kind words, prayers, thoughts, cards, flowers, food, time, or anything else you’ve offered.  I am overwhelmed by the tremendous support from our community of friends.  When I think about how to respond to the question many of you have asked, “Is there anything we can do for you?” my answer is this:  please help me maintain stability for our children.  As many of you know, Frankie was a high school teacher, and so am I.  His absence is painful and devastating on many levels. I hope that you will consider contributing to this fund.
