Donations for Hendrick and Family!

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to click on this link to send prayers and donations to The Staples Family.
On September 22nd, Baby Hendrick made his way into the world. It wasn't long before it was noticed he may have a condition that needed treatment. Hendrick was diagnosed with ichthyosis, a rare skin condition affecting an estimated 10-20 individuals per million. Ichthyosis causes widespread and persistent thick, dry, scaly skin which needs to be regularly moisturized. There is no cure.
It's unknown at this time which specific type of ichthyosis Hendrick has. Throughout infancy and childhood, Hendrick will probably require at least occasional, if not frequent, specialized medical attention. In short, the economics of ichthyosis can become a significant factor in any parent’s life.
Dustin and Zephyra have been with Hendrick in the ICU at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland and await further tests as they may need to be transported to Boston Children's Hospital. It's been hard on the family as this is their first stretch of time away from their sweet 2 year old boy back at home. Dustin has limited time off from his work and expenses are tight given the added costs of travel, food, and lodging.
Please show your support and help us in raising money to relieve the economic burden that comes along with treating and caring for anyone with a rare condition. Money will go towards daily living costs for Dustin and Zephyra as they stay by Hendrick's side, immediate bills which need to be paid while Dustin is out of work, and Hendrick's medical expenses moving forward.
To say thank you isn't enough.
