Donations for Human Concern International

Hello, My name is Analiese and I am based in Orlando. I am collecting funds for for Human Concern International in Palestine to sponsor a family that is displaced during the ongoing military occupation in Gaza.

Due to the recent events that have led to a full bombardment of military presence in Gaza, women and children are being severely impacted. The population of the Gaza Strip is 2.2 million. Since the 7th of October, 6,654 women and children have been killed, 739,500 women and girls have been displaced from their homes, and 1,953 women have become widowed (Facts and Figures: Women and Girls during the War in Gaza | UN Women – Headquarters, 2023). Women living in Gaza are in urgent need of support and resources. One of the most alarming statistics is the fact that over 50,000 woman in Gaza are pregnant right now, and over 5,000 are expected to deliver within the next month (Facts and Figures: Women and Girls during the War in Gaza | UN Women – Headquarters, 2023). Due to this bombardment, the hospitals that are still in service are operating with very limited resources and ability- giving pregnant women in Gaza little to no chance of access to safe child delivery.

My goal is to fundraise $1,000 so I can sponsor a displaced family directly. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be directly sent to Human Concern International
