Donations for Kelsey's Battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Donation protected
After going into my doctor's office expecting a diagnosis like arthritis or a virus just hanging on for dear life, I never expected to hear that I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Throughout the past month, my life has been filled with countless doctor's appointments, biopsies, scans, and now chemo treatments. With another biopsy to complete staging, echocardiograms, more scans, and chemo treatments on the way, the amount of work I am missing and will have to continue to miss is extremely worrying, and having a high deductible insurance plan with January approaching is not making the worrying any easier. The last thing I want to do is pressure anyone into giving me money, but I have had family and friends reach out asking how they can help, and to be completely transparent, this is the best way you can. Not only would the money be going to medical bills, but it would be going straight to any rent/utility bills, and necessities such as chemo port covers, port-accessible clothing for treatment days, and beanies and warm clothing for when I soon lose my hair to keep me warm during these winter months. And if enough could be raised, I would love to be able to pay back my mom and dad for all the money they have taken out of their own savings for these medical bills and supplies thus far. Anything you can give will help.
