Ryan Koehn was involved in a tragic accident in Columbus on Wednesday night, July 26. He was struck by someone who was driving under the influence and fleeing a traffic stop. Ryan was extricated from his vehicle using the Jaws of Life and was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center and then transported to Regional One Health Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis where he currently remains on life support. This is the most recent update:
"Ryan has suffered severe irreparable brain damage but is still showing some minimal brain activity. This morning they wanted to do a brain flow test to see if there was any brain activity but he moved his right leg and by doing this they could not do the test."
There has been an outpouring of support by the entire community and a request to start a gofundme to help with expenses. Rianne is my niece and all funds will be hers to use for medical/funeral/living expenses. Thank you for your thoughts and most of all your prayers during this time. Please continue to pray for Rianne as she is facing many difficult decisions in the hours and days ahead.
