Donations for the Eric Harris Family

My name is Alli McQuade, Eric Harris’ sister. I'm setting up a fundraiser for the Harris family. Eric and his family recently moved to Idaho for a new job opportunity.

On February 15th, Eric was involved in a serious single-vehicle car accident and is in the ICU in Idaho. He has a long road to recovery, but is making progress. Eric's femur was split in multiple pieces and his kneecap shattered. He's undergone one surgery and will have about three more over the next couple of weeks. He has a subdural hematoma (bruising on the brain) and small clots in his lungs. He is being treated for both. We are getting updates daily. Once he is able to go home he will have months of physical therapy.

The hospital is in Pocatello, three hours from their Idaho home. There will be a lot of traveling back and forth over the coming weeks. His wife, Stacy, their two daughters, Bella, Olivia and their expecting baby coming this June have been very strong during this time.

I also want to encourage all of you to update your emergency SOS contacts in your cell phone. We were very grateful to get an automatic SOS notification, which immediately notified us of his crash, called 911 and sent us his location. We are also immensely grateful for the off duty EMT that was there with him until the emergency responders arrived, along with the doctors, nurses and other wonderful staff at Portneuf Hospital in Pocatello.
