Donations for victims of earthquake in Herat

A powerful earthquake struck Herat province, resulting in hundreds of people feared dead. Initially, media reports said the death toll could be over 2,000, but later they clarified that this number also included injured people.

The quake was of 6.3 magnitude and devastated at least 12 villages near the city of Herat on Saturday. Following this, the Afghan Community Culture Center- ACCC Executive Board has decided to organize a fundraising event to aid the earthquake victims.
