My father’s greatest passion in life has always been skiing and ski racing. He raced for the French National Team during the 1980s/90s and later went on to coach the French Women’s speed team, as well as the Canadian Men’s speed team (Canadian Cowboys) as they prepared for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver/Whistler. He then was in charge of the Feminine Swiss technical team before taking on the Women's Russian speed team to prepare for the Sochi Olympics.
In 2020 while coaching for S-TEAM, the private training structure for young skiers he created, he had a ski accident that left him paralyzed and unable to walk and turned our lives upside down.
We are lucky enough to live at the top of a beautiful mountain in the Vosges, but my father has not been able to move around independently outside the house since his accident. A vehicle adapted to his needs would simply allow him to regain some freedom.
I would like to thank his supportive ski family from the bottom of my heart for organising a fund to help us finance this vehicle. Many prizes were donated to encourage contributions.
