Donations To help Build A basketball Court

Hi, My Name is Moses Agare,

I come from a small village in Kenya called Sirembe, the same village where I hope to help build a basketball court to provide more academic and athletic opportunities for these students to engage in. In Kenya, public schools are not free—for many, it is difficult to afford the tuition required to attend. When the nonprofit Restore Humanity stepped in to give me the financial support needed to complete secondary school, I was one of those students on the brink of dropping out. I was fortunate that Restore Humanity sponsored my education in the United States at the University of Arkansas, where I studied civil engineering.

I have been extremely fortunate to be where I am today and would love to give back the kindness that was shown to me by giving back to my community so that others have a better chance of succeeding in their lives as well. I leveraged my platform at the University of Arkansas to raise money to help build a new classroom in Sirembe Primary School to improve the student-to-teacher ratio, which at the time had nearly 150 students for every teacher. We are proud that adding that new classroom could significantly enhance the capacity of the school and the quality of its teaching.

I am now turning my attention to raising money to build a basketball court to instill hope in kids that they too can grow their athletic abilities to excel and compete and higher levels beyond the reach of their village. Any donation made will go towards making this dream a reality and improving the lives of students from my home in Sirembe.
