Donations to Help Dillon Smith & His Family

A few words from Kutztown Strong:

You’re 16, and have the weight of the world on your shoulders. In the past few years, you lost your grandmother, brother, and recently your dad. This is what Dillon Smith, a Kutztown Area School District student, has experienced. Add on the responsibility of worrying about and caring for your mother who is recovering from kidney transplant surgery. This is a lot for any adult to handle, let alone a 16-year-old.

Another thing you need to know about Dillon is that he’s been involved in the Kutztown Strong Middle School Group where he worked alongside his friends creating a supportive and grateful community with initiatives that acknowledged and thanked veterans, senior citizens, and teachers. He’s been a quiet source of calm to his friends during the Pandemic and now at the after-school program Oasis, where he listens to their concerns. He’s a caring and supportive individual.

Now it’s our turn to show support to Dillon and his mother as we’re always Stronger Together. The Mission of Kutztown Strong is to strengthen the resolve of the next generation, so we've created this Go-Fund-Me to help Dillon and his mother with the basic needs of groceries, home heating oil, utilities, rent, and funeral expenses.
