Donations to help Melvin & Mary Jane Malone

Hello, we are the children (Sandy, Paul & Christina) of Melvin & Mary Jane Malone.

As most of you are aware, late December 2023 after our father went for a routine visit to his dr, it was discovered that prostate cancer has returned and is at Stage 4. It has spread to several other parts of his body.

Throughout life, our parents have taught us the importance of putting God first & fulfilling his Laws. They taught us by example. A few of those examples:

Showing kindness to all

Studying his word & praying

Commitment to church & dedication to do whatever was asked of them

Faithfulness to always give God his part through tithes & offerings.

If there’s ever been any one who exhibits God’s law in action, it’s our parents.

Never have they expected some great award for their efforts & sacrifice. They don’t seek notoriety nor prefer any spotlight.

Matter of fact we are creating this fundraiser without their permission because we know they will be reluctant to accept and prefer others over themselves.

But today, we are requesting your help.

The Bible says:

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

We are first requesting prayer for our dad’s healing. Every single prayer makes a difference.

We know the God that created the body can also just speak the word and the body be healed.

And lastly, we are asking you to help us to lift some of the strain and burdens that our parents are carrying right now through financial contributions.

Our goal is to eliminate any unnecessary worries on our parents so they can focus solely on our Dads treatment & getting well.

They both will no longer be able to work as we have learned that radiation treatment will be required every day (excluding weekends) for several weeks. The facility to receive treatment is roughly an hour from their home in one direction. The fuel expense to drive to and from treatment everyday will be immensely great. The expenses from cancer can accumulate quickly. And the normal monthly bills won’t go on hold.

We are truly grateful for those who have contacted us wanting to help. We felt this was the best method to use in order to reach not only our family and friends but also their friends.

No amount is too small or great. We appreciate anything you can contribute.
