Donations for Oba Oguntokun (Late Wole Oguntokun's Son)
Donation protected
To those who knew Wole, he was many things. A simple, yet complex being who was fiercely loyal to his friends. He was gregarious yet so private, an eternally youthful soul. His presence was woven with threads of joy, intellect & love. He was also a quick-witted lawyer, an incredible playwright and stage director, but his most cherished role was as devoted father to his son, Oba.
When his health crisis emerged, typical of Wole, he retreated, not wanting to burden anyone. Instead, he chose a quiet place where his health could be nurtured and where Oba could find solace and care. They moved to Niagara Falls where Oba could flourish and enjoy a new high school, friends, music classes and life in a small town. Wole was cared for and Oba thrived in their quiet place of healing but unfortunately Wole didn't recover and went to be with the Lord earlier this year.
He is finally free from pain, but he left his beloved Oba behind, who he fondly called Django. Now, Oba needs us!
With your thoughtful giving we can make sure Oba's basic needs are met as he continues to navigate this life. Even though we can't replace Wole, we can be Oba's support system.
Wole will always live in our hearts, on the stage and through his son, Oba.
Thank you for your generosity and support as you give to this noble cause.......
