Donations to help support Lauren Schnacker

Hello - My name is Morgan Schnacker, Lauren's older sister. I am creating this Go Fund Me, with hopes to receive donations to help Lauren and her small family ease the financial burden that are to come with Lauren's health issues.
Lauren was first diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2021, when she was 8 months pregnant with her first born daughter, Layla. Thankfully, in March of 2022, it had been determined that Lauren would receive her last chemo treatment and be cancer free!
In October of 2022, Lauren found out that she was pregnant again and our family was ecstatic to have another little one to love on! However, in January of 2023 Lauren had discovered a swollen lymph node in her neck. After a biopsy of the swollen lymph node, it had been determined that unfortunately, the cancer had returned. Due to Lauren being pregnant, she wouldn't be able to start any cancer treatments until after she delivered.
On April 17th, little Lydia Louise was born, weighing in at 4 pounds and 14 ounces! After spending a week in the NICU, Lydia was able to go home and meet her sister, Layla! While this was supposed to be a happy time, Lauren's health had taken a turn and she was admitted to the ICU due to dangerously high fevers and low blood pressure due to an infection. Lauren was finally discharged from the hospital after a few days, as the treatments she had been given seemed to get rid of the infection. After only being at home for just a few days and adjusting to having a new little one at home, Lauren received a call from her cancer doctor in Omaha, that they would be starting her cancer treatments as soon as possible. This last Tuesday evening, Lauren headed to Omaha to start chemo on Wednesday, May 3rd, she would receive three rounds of chemo between Wednesday and Friday and hopefully be discharged on Saturday to go home and be with her little family. Unfortunately, this morning (Saturday), Lauren woke up extremely confused and disoriented. The doctors determined that Lauren developed neurotoxicity due to the chemotherapy treatments. Lauren will spend a few more days in Omaha, in hopes that the neurotoxicity will reverse itself.
The money donated will go to Lauren and her family to help with medical bills, travel expenses (driving to Omaha every 3 weeks for chemo treatments), lodging expenses and all of other expenses that will come along the way.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this quick and short version of Lauren's story! All donations, thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated by Lauren and our family!
