Donations to support the Sheppard family.

Our very dear friend, co-worker, family and brother in blue- Town of Geddes Police Officer, Michael Andrew Sheppard, suffered the loss of his loving wife, Ashley Frances Sheppard. On October 29th, 2023, at the young age of 35, Ashley passed away from gastric cancer. She was not only Michael’s loving wife, but was his best friend and the loving mother of their two-year-old son, Jackson John Sheppard, who is also suffering the loss of his Mommy. Ashley was also a Department Manager at the Rosemond Gifford Zoo.

Michael, just beginning his career in law enforcement coupled with the loss of half the family’s income will certainly place an economic burden on him. While Michael and two year old Jackson prepare to move forward without Ashley, we thought it was only appropriate to set up a GoFundME page to assist Michael and little Jackson during this extremely emotional and difficult time. Filling a Mother’s shoes is a very big task and eventually Michael will be returning to work.
