Due to the war that has affected our area, my family has faced numerous hardships, including losing our home and becoming homeless. We have been displaced multiple times and are currently living in extremely difficult conditions, with scarce resources and great difficulty in securing our basic needs. My family used to live a peaceful life in our home, which we had been building with effort and joy over the years. Every corner held a memory, and every room a moment from our lives. But when the war broke out, everything changed faster than words can describe.The sounds of shells and explosions grew louder, and with each passing day, the fear intensified. At first, we thought it was temporary and that we could stay in our home. But the war showed no mercy. On a dark night, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives: to leave everything behind and flee in search of safety.We left our home, carrying little belongings but many memories. We walked for a long time, surrounded by fear from all sides. Each step took us further away from our past and opened doors to the unknown. We didn’t know where we were going, but all we could think of was survival.We moved from place to place, displacement after displacement. Each time, we left a part of our souls behind. The feeling of estrangement deepened, but at the same time, there was a growing sense of unity and strength among us as a family. We knew that as long as we were together, we could endure.In the end, despite all the pain and loss, we learned that a home is not just walls and a roof, but the safety we find in the hearts of those we love.
