Donkey Dinners Animal Sanctuary

Donkeys live up to 50 years, so there's a good chance most of them will outlive their owners.

Donkey Dinners Animal Sanctuary is a private initiative that's been looking after rescued donkeys and dogs for over 10 years in the harsh conditions of the Almeria Desert in southeast Spain. These donkeys, eight (plus one mare), seem to have slipped through the registered charity safety net (if there is such a thing). They have no other recourse. Your donations will help ensure their continued wellbeing for a whole year in a caring environment.

We will update you with several videos per week and livestreams whenever possible, so that you can see the benefits of your donations and enjoy the virtual company of these beautiful animals.

We're 1/2 an hour from Almeria airport and about 2 hours from Malaga. If you're in the area and you'd like to spend some time with our four-legged friends, you're welcome to send a message and book a visit. Bring carrots!
