Donna Abbott's Recovery Fund

Donna Abbott has been a vital part of our Zaxby’s family since the day we opened in Live Oak, FL almost 10 years ago. She started at this location as a cashier and over the last 10 years has worked her way up to become our General Manager. Donna has been a huge part of our success in Live Oak and is the true definition of servant leadership.

On February 7th, 2022 Donna suffered a devastating medical emergency. After having a severe brain bleed that led to a stroke, Donna was life flighted to North Florida Regional Medical Center, for immediate emergency surgery, where she remains today. Her medical team is anticipating an incredibly long road to recovery as she has lost all mobility on her right side. Donna will need a variety of extensive therapies to help her regain mobility as well as speech.

Donna is a loving mother to her 3 adult children and her 10-year-old son. She is also a Nanny to 3, soon to be 5 grandchildren. She is a well-respected, loved, and valued community member of Suwannee County.

Zaxby’s in Live Oak, FL will be hosting a fundraiser night March 10th, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm. Zaxby’s will be donating 100% of proceeds to aid in her long road to recovery.
