I Kaitlyn woody daughter of Donna Woody am trying to raise money to fund my mothers funeral. She was a loving mother to me and my sister Krista Woody, and was an amazing grandmother to five. She was diagnosed with Irritable bowel syndrome 7 months ago, and this was just one of the reasons her health was being affected. My mother’s weight was dropping drastically and no one understood why which is why I decided to take her to the hospital where doctors found out she had stage four Metastatic ovarian cancer. She was clearly misdiagnosed in the beginning but due to this major misdiagnosis my mother passed on December 30th of 2022. She was 59 years young and had the biggest heart, she helped everyone she could. She lived without a selfish bone in her body along with a heart of gold. She was the definition of a fighter, as she put up a unbelievable fight. Unfortunately, she was taken from this silent killer known as cancer. Any donation anyone could possibly make would be a blessing. I want my mother to have the proper funeral she deserves, just as the funerals she held for others. Every and anything counts, I know and understand the holidays just passed and times are rough but as I mentioned every and anything counts and is deeply appreciated.
