Donna Fight and Beat Cancer!

Hello everyone, my name is Robin Geffen and I never thought I would be creating a Go Fund Me account to raise money, as I’m not the type to ever ask for help. So many of you have asked what you can do to help, so I am creating this account for my mom, Donna Geffen. For those of you who know both of us, you know how close we are. We are not just a mother and daughter who work together, we are best friends who are inseparable.

If you’ve had the pleasure of knowing Donna, then you know how incredibly special she is. She is the most selfless, incredible woman who will go out of her way to touch lives daily and help those in need. She has made such a significant impact on so many lives and now she needs our help.

It is with great sadness we announce that Donna was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in early December. Additionally, skin cancer was also found. Although my mom’s strong, always optimistic attitude keeps our heads up, this has hit our whole family very hard. As you might imagine, even with health insurance, cancer is a very expensive disease to treat. The bills are already over 30k, and she hasn’t even had surgery yet. A colon resection surgery is scheduled for January 16th. Add to that, she will have to take some time off work to fight this disease. And now you know why I’m setting up this Go Fund Me account I am so grateful for all of you who have already reached out, and for all of you who love my mom. (She loves you too!)
