Donna Hoffman Brain Cancer Battle

Donna, mom to Jenni~Rose, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Here is their story.
Jenni~Rose was born at home on a bean bag chair in 1997. Upon arrival, she opened her eyes and looked at each face in the room before taking her first breath. This magical fairy with Down Syndrome underwent open heart surgery at 6 months old. Soon after recovery, her firebrand mother, Donna, rebuffed a well known DS specialist's assessment that nothing could be done to improve J~R's condition. Donna searched steadfastly until she found Nutrivene and set a course of improved health that continues today. When the local school system also assessed that nothing much could be done to educate her daughter, Mom again sprang into action with robust home schooling.
The~Rose blossomed with song and dance as a stage performer that always amazed the adults in the room with her creative prowess! Together they have faced every hurdle on the road to adulthood in a joyful, positive and creative manner. No one on the planet was more joyful than these two for the first 21 years!
Father Doug (aka Bob) joined the family as J~R was turning 4. He recognized her as the child who appeared to him in a lucid dream years earlier, and she responded by immediately calling him Daddy! This popular family has enjoyed a host of wonderful times together over the years.
Challenges arose last year as Donna exhibited symptoms of Gliomatosis Cerebri, a very rare, incurable brain cancer. Doug jumped in to run Donna's e-commerce business, ezClearWater.com, while keeping his own business going. The situation has become untenable for him. Doug cannot minister to both of them while continuing to work two jobs; he must hire outside assistance to keep them safe and care for them. They need financial assistance to continue giving Jenni~Rose the personal care and attention she deserves.
For over two decades Donna has been mentor and Fairy Godmother both to myself and countless others. Even though she ran her own business, her professed career choice was, in fact, Fairy Godmothering! It was a 'position' she took seriously and at which she excelled! Now is the time for me to step up to return that love to Donna and ask that anyone who can please donate to help this family. We cannot change Donna's diagnosis, so the most loving gesture would be to ensure that her husband and daughter are able to be by her side as she advances toward "the light".
Your donations also go to establishing a trust fund to provide a bright future for Jenni~Rose. Donna is currently well cared for by Routine Hospice Care in the Home and in good spirits thanks to the many friends that come to visit her.
