My name is Lisa Grieb. This is a fellow hairstylist of mine from East End Hair Company. Donna has been diagnosed with a rare kidney disease and will need surgery to have the kidney removed. She will be out of work for the next few months. As we are all self employed, this will be very difficult with no income during this time. If you could please help it would be greatly appreciated. So long post but this is to update everyone what's been going on with my health. I had lost alot of weight without trying and had become very fatigued. Upon doing bloodwork its showed I was anemic and had alot of inflammation in my body. We did a CT scan 3 weeks ago and found that some of my lymph nodes, liver ,spleen and my right kidney were enlarged. In fact my kidney had huge kidney stones in it. I was referred to a urologist where he figured out I have a very rare kidney disease called and XPG kidney. It has multiple large stones, smaller ones and in between pockets of infection. I have a nuclear test Monday to see if there is any functionality of that kidney, at this point he does not think I do. Either way I have a surgery in the near future to have it removed. I apologize to everyone I have had to cancel or reschedule as I don't know how I'm going to feel day to day between the anemia fatigue and the kidney pain. Hopefully once we get this bad kidney out I will be back on the mend to being myself. The recovery after surgery is 4-6 weeks so I will do my best to try and get some of you in for appointments before the surgery. Thank you for being kind and understanding. I love you all❤
