Donnalee needs a gently used car
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Donnalee. I am a disabled senior with multiple sclerosis, MS. Fortunately, I can still drive even though I can’t walk more than about half of a block. My beloved Subaru Outback has given it up, so I am in dire need of help to obtain a vehicle that is reliable and ensure I can get to my doctor appointments as well as everyday necessities, such as the grocery store. With that said, I am on a fixed income so any help is greatly appreciated.
I am also the caregiver for my sister who is developmentally delayed and a senior, too. It is imperative that I have a way to transport her to the various appointments she needs to attend.
The vehicle has to be big enough that my wheelchair can easily fit in without requiring excessive standing or manipulation on my part. I don’t need a new vehicle, but I do need one that is reliable and good on gas like my Subaru was.
Knowing how easily seniors can become isolated, keeping connected with others is extremely important. I volunteer creating events so seniors are Not Home Alone on holidays. Many times I provide transportation for other seniors/disabled seniors so we can attend a variety of senior events.
If I had a way to afford a vehicle on my own, I wouldn’t be asking for help so please believe I am in need of your assistance!!
Thank you ever so much for your consideration!!
