I would like to start off by saying I’m sorry if we didn’t personally reach out to tell you about Nanie. She is loved by so many people and we tried to tell as many people as possible. As a lot of people know Nanie had lung cancer and completed her chemo and radiation. On September 4th Nanie was admitted to the hospital because she was extremely weak and didn’t feel good. They ran lots of test and scans , it turned out that she had pneumonia. They wanted to keep her for observations and transferred her to Brunswick to be with her cancer doctors. Once she got to Brunswick her blood pressure dropped extremely low and she went into AFIB which is where her heart races 200+ while resting that’s when they discovered that she had fluids building on her lungs. They decided to put her on a c-pack machine to help her get more oxygen, they left her on that for a few days and she was making no improvement. Her blood pressure was still low, her heart was still racing while resting, and she was still struggling to breath. That is when the hard decision was made that she had to be put on a ventilator. She has been on the ventilator  for 3 days now her body is unfortunately not improving; her organs are not getting enough oxygen. Nanie is in critical condition and our mom and Aunt Kathy have been by her side nonstop so our mom has not been able to work. We are asking people to help her with money right now because she has not been able to work to provide for our little brothers. Any little bit helps thank you all so much!
