Donnie Hankins of Glen Rose TX -

On the 1st anniversary of the Chalk Mountain Fire, another grass fire started at CR2008 and CR2018. This fire consumed 5 acres and destroyed one structure - the home of Donnie Hankins. Chris B from Fossil Rim saw the fire and ran into the trailer with another gentleman - woke Donnie up and got him out of the house before it was consumed in flames. Donnie has lost everything, he ran out with the clothes on his back only. He didn't even grab his phone. It's going to take some time to detail everything that Donnie is going to need shortly, but anything helps at this point. Clothes are being collected. He does have a place to stay until things are sorted.

Our community always rallies when emergencies happen, and this year with so many people suffering because of the economy, it might be harder to stretch a dollar to help - but Donnie would do that for anyone...he'd give the shirt of his back...so let's help him get back on his feet from this devastation.
