Donnie's Cancer Treatment Fund

Donnie was driving home from her aunt's surprise birthday party at the end of January when she found a lump above her right collarbone. After many weeks of doctors' appointments and concern for her health she was diagnosed with Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma. Being 25 and seemingly healthy she was shocked and terrified to say the least. Donnie was just about to start her career as a hair stylist at Indie Salon in Arroyo Grande after a year of assisting. This all came to a sudden halt with her new diagnosis and sudden life change. 

That being said, right now is a time to prepare now more than ever. Donnie is facing costs for unknown medical bills and fertility precautions. She needs to undergo a process to freeze her eggs if she wants to have children in the future. This total process is around $11,000 and is not covered by insurance. Donnie will also not be able to work while she undergoes chemo and radiation treatment which has resulted in her moving back in with family. Chemotherapy and radiation costs are unknown at this time.
