Donnie's Door of Hope
Donation protected
Our dad, Donnie was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the sinuses in August.
For those of you who know him, will agree with us that he is one of the most hard-working, kind -hearted men around. Dad has never met a stranger and is greatly loved by family and many friends, whom he always puts before himself. His smile and laughter are contagious. He is a loving husband to his wife Bonnie of 50 years, and an amazing father of his 3 children, and the absolute best grandpa to his 8 grandchildren.
He underwent surgery on August 9, of which we thought was a benign mass in his sinuses. But unfortunately, when pathology reports came back, it revealed a malignancy. Which is now taking him on his healing journey. God then led us to some amazing doctors in Chicago. He is now undergoing Chemo and radiation and will possibly need another surgery. He and mom will be staying in Chicago for the duration of his treatments. Generous family and friends will be tending to the farm and home, daily while they are away.
We believe dad's determination, strong faith, and support and prayers from family and friends are leading him toward the door of hope for his complete restoration and healing!
Anything we can do to help and support them with our love, to lighten the burden of financial stress, would be greatly appreciated.
We are thankful for everyone's support, prayers, and encouragement during dad's healing journey.
If you feel led, please share his story with others and spread the love. A prayer and a penny go a long way and will bless him!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
