Donovan & Cendra McCabe Emergency Medical Expense

Hi, my name is Mary Beth Petrie (McCabe) and I've created this fund raiser to help my brother Donovan and sister-in-law Cendra with medical and living expenses, while doctors and staff fight to get their son healthy!

About 3-4 weeks ago in August their 7 year old son Azariah began having dizzy spells. The dizzy spells became more frequent and eye twitching and muscle spasms began. They took him to the hospital and he was diagnosed with seizures. 8 more seizures happened while at the hospital so he was transferred by ambulance to OSF in Peoria. The doctors and care team couldn't get the seizures under control, so he was put into a medically induced coma, with intubation. The doctors knew he needed more specialized care so Azariah was flown, by Life Flight, to Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago. Donovan is currently staying at the hospital with Azariah, he'll be there for at least a week then will trade off and Cendra will stay at the hospital for the second week. Trading back and forth for as long as is needed.

What they are going through is unimaginable and the medical expense will be astronomical! Donovan will be losing wages during his time off too! I'm hoping that together we can help alleviate some of financial stress so that they can focus solely on Azariah!

Funds from this will go directly to Donovan and Cendra to help with travel and medical expenses. Please help me help them. Anything helps!'
