Don’t Let Cancer Close Jean's Cattery!
Donation protected
On May 31st 2022 my mom, Jean Pasqualucci’s, world was turned upside down when she received a diagnosis of a rare form of cancer. After two months of doctors visits and testing we knew the news wouldn’t be great but we weren’t prepared for the massive emotional and financial toll that cancer, specifically, would take in such a short amount of time.
Of course, my mom has immediately strapped on the proverbial boxing gloves and is ready to go to battle but the initial surgery will be very invasive and put her on bedrest for a few weeks and then limit her mobility for months after that with unknown cancer treatments.
This is why I’m reaching out to friends and the community on her behalf. My incredibly independent mother will need to close the doors to her cat boarding business, Cranberry Hill Cattery, for at least a couple months.
Her cattery was built on her dream to help the community and love of animals. It has been her main source of income since it opened in 2019. Closing the doors during these busy summer months, even temporarily, will be a huge financial strain, especially after the slow years that Covid brought to all small businesses.
Please help me raise the funds to support my mother so she doesn’t have to worry about losing her business permanently while recovering from surgery and any long term cancer treatment that may continue to slow her down. She doesn’t deserve to stress about that while her recovery is a priority. My mom wants nothing more than to get back on her feet to spend time with Cora, her little granddaughter, her animals, and open the cattery doors again to see her favorite customers.
My mom is an amazing woman with a kind heart who has always jumped to her feet to help anyone in need, she is incredibly sincere with her caring and usually throws in a dash of her goofy sense of humor for good measure.
She lives alone with her beloved pets and runs the business all by herself. I want to raise enough to cover her extensive bills for a few months, plus any necessary in-home care and services such as grocery delivery to ease her temporary limitations. Your generosity is so, so appreciated and any little bit helps at a time like this! Thanks so much from the Pasqualucci family!
Sincerely,
