Dorian get to Down's Syndrome World Championships

We are Trowbridge ASC and are a local Swim England affiliated swimming club based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. We are an inclusive competitive swimming club and our swimmers have reached County, Regional, National and International Level. We have even had a swimmer in the Paralympics.

Next year, one of our swimmers, Dorian Williams will be swimming at the Down’s Syndrome World Championships in Turkey. He is thrilled to be picked and as a club we are so excited for Dorian.

Down’s Syndrome swimming does not receive any funding and as such the entire trip will need to be funded by Dorian and his family.

The funding received will go towards, flights, accommodation, food and anything Dorian needs while he is there. Any additional excess funds will go towards other competitions Dorian attends throughout 2024.

In 2023, Dorian won 2 Bronze medals at the British Down’s Syndrome Swimming Championships. He is hoping to do just as well at the World Championships.
