"Destined to Be Forever..." Dori & Andrew Allwein

Welcome and thank you for taking this opportunity to learn more about Dori and Andrew's love and legacy, and for your consideration in offering financial support through this incredibly difficult time for Dori and Andrew's loved ones.  Dori and Andrew Allwein-2004  Dori and Andrew believed in true love and found it in each other. Teammates and best friends, they conquered life together. Through following dreams, inspiring their communities and laughing along the way, their love for one another only grew with the years. On Sunday, August 11, 2019, Dori's soul mate, Andrew, left this earth surrounded by an abundance of love from family and friends, after a long medical struggle, ultimately leading to liver and kidney failure. Dori beautifully expressed her love, pain and adoration for Andrew in a touching tribute she shared: "My heart is forever broken as I said goodbye to the love of my life, best friend, and soul mate yesterday afternoon. After his very painful journey, I am at peace knowing he is no longer suffering and is forever singing with the angels. He fought long and hard with the same perseverance and determination he showed throughout his beautiful life. Over his last few days, he was surrounded in love with our son, family, and friends. We shared some good laughs, tears, hugs, and many kisses. And he knew how very loved he was. Not sure what this side of forever will feel like as I miss him so very much and don't even know how to breathe without him. I do find comfort knowing that what we shared together for over 30 years was something many people never get to experience ever: The real thing. True love. A love where we would die for each other. A love that only grew stronger each day we were together.  When we got married, we had "destined to be forever" inscripted into our rings as we truly have always felt like we were soul mates and meant to be together forever in this life and into eternity, and I know we will someday be reunited and can't wait until we are.  Someday, I will tell his story because I know his illness and ultimately death was not meant to go in vain. And his story will and can make a difference in someone else's life. But for now, I am going to try to do and be what Andrew always has been for me, our son, and his family: BRAVE.  STRONG.  COURAGEOUS." Through her ambitions, passions and creativity she strengthens all of those around her with her genuine kindness and compassion. Dori is multi-talented with skills and knowledge in enhancing confidence and encouraging growth as she works within the community with both adults and youth. With exceptional training in pilates, dance, choreography, musical theatre, directing, safer beauty and clean living, her personal interactions and relationships blossom around her.  Dori delights in the successes of her loyal pilates clients in the Prescott, AZ area, as well as her inspiring dedication made to hundreds of local high schoolers in multi-faceted arts education programs. She ignites the stage with her charisma and smile, always offering pure positivity and support to help each individual create and cultivate their best selves! It is so magical to see the mood of an entire roomful of her fans transform into confident, accomplished achievers.  If you have ever had the amazing privilege of knowing or working with Dori in any capacity, it is easy to see how her tenacity and courage will greatly assist her throughout this life-altering event. Regardless, however, of her consistent vigor in life, the thought of this extraordinary woman suddenly being faced with the new reality of life without her partner is unbearable. With Dori, there was one thing everyone knew for sure...she fiercely and devotedly loved her husband. "Crazy For You" Performance-2008 With both Dori and Andrew being active, individual business owners, there have been obvious financial concerns and burdens placed upon them throughout this year, as Andrew's health slowly and steadily declined. With the recent impending sale of Andrew's business, heavy medical bills, funeral planning and many other expenses will quickly add up as Dori's life inevitably adjusts.  If you, or someone you know, are able to monetarily contribute in any small or great way to help lessen financial and emotional hardships, it will be completely appreciated and necessarily used. In a small and loving community, it is imperative that people help each other. To ease burdens, to uplift and to exercise compassion and empathy.  Whether or not a financial offering of support can be made, Dori will be greatly blessed to also know that within her neighborhood of caring individuals, the Allwein family can be lifted up in prayer.
