Hello, my name is Dorian, I am an actor, martial artist and mountaineer. One of my most notable roles was portraying real life Eduardo Strauch on the documentary reenactment "I Am Alive: Surviving the Andes Plane Crash" which premiered on the History Channel, regarding the story of the survival of the Uruguayan rugby club, made famous by the film "Alive".
Every year to commemorate the rescue of the 16 survivors, Ricardo Peña (mountaineer and outfitter), along with Eduardo, leads an expedition to the crash site. I have been asked to join the next expedition in January, 2016. I am so honored to have been a part of this amazing story that I am moved to continue this journey. Playing the role in this story had a huge impact on myself and my friends and family. I have grown to become friends with Eduardo himself and it would be an amazing privilege to share this experience with him. I am asking for a small donation, anything you can give. I am trying to reach the meager sum of $3700 to pay for only a partial amount of my trip. In this adventure I plan to document my experience and share with you, my friends, the emotional impact and to hopefully come away with a new view on life. The harrowing experience that these people went through is incredible and I hope that through my connection and voyage I may help us connect to the spiritual awakening and rebirth inspired by this legend of survival in the Andes.
