Dorin Runs Bull Run!
“Well, that didn’t go according to plan!”
Have we not all heard that adage at some point during 2020, perhaps with a few more expletives inserted? 2020 has proven itself as some one of the more trying years in recent history. A global pandemic, civil unrest and uncertainty, coupled with a precarious economy at best.
Yet, through all of the difficulties, we have been able to find refuge and solitude in nature. Our regional and national parks have provided a vestige for us to disconnect from the mind boggles that weigh on us everyday. A rare opportunity during the day to simply walk, run, bike, or sit with nature.
It is for that reason, I seek your charitable donations for the Bull Run Regional Park by running the full length of the Bull Run Trail. The trail commences in Bull Run Regional Park and winds through 18 miles and 4,000 acres of Virginia woodlands to its terminus at Fountainhead Regional. It is an area where outdoor enthusiasts of all walks can enjoy the wilderness within a stone’s throw of the Nation’s capital.
I plan to run the 18-mile trail on October 3, 2020 with a goal of raising $500 to support this unique and wonderful park and recreational area. For more information on the trail, please see the link below:
