DORINE PROJECT: We got land! Let's build a HOUSE!

Hello everyone
Please note that the below link with Goodwill Ophanage started last year together with my Argentinian cousin Carolina who introduced me to the Orphanage.
Today 26th September is my Birthday...
I woke up with the most beautiful message form Uganda and Goodwill Orphanage in Mityana from Okedi (their 23yo guardian) and the 22 Ninjas!
Feeling so blessed!
I worked today...went for a special lunch and a quick stop to the Red Cross to get LOTS of shoes and clothes to send to Uganda.
I called Okedi at the same time while picking up 33 pairs of shoes (I still have to pack and send to Uganda over the next few days and minimise the parcel cost): He was working on a building site to make spare money (to buy meat and soap, toothpaste and body oil after the shower for the kids as their skin get very dry) and the smile on his face was priceless to see me calling him and showing him all the shoes I found!
Been some time now I know my mission in this life: DRIVE CHANGE, MAKE AN IMPACT and GIVE BACK to the World!
Today lots of people will send some messages on Social network...thank you all for your good wishes and seeing the Light in me...
I would be SO grateful to have your support in this Orphanage venture (it is a commitment for life for me and on a monthly basis for food support etc).
You will make a TRUE DIFFERENCE, trust me! I cannot do it all alone.
Back in January we achieved buying a piece of land where the kids and Okedi planted beans and corn....they have also some trees on the land and fruits....
We had all the kids protected against Malaria (need to be renewed every 4-6 months)
We got also a water tank 2 weeks ago! BIG achievement to collect water from rain and have clean water to for their use (they will share with neighbors in need).
The tank can be moved so perfect for the new project coming (a house!)
We dream now of : a chicken farm to be self-sufficient and also make a small income (but their are currently renting a house and no space for chickens), new mattresses, blankets but mores importantly:
TO BUILD A HOUSE!
Okedi is leading on the project!
I am handling the funds with my cousin Carolina. We got some brick already.
Would love to go to Uganda to organise everything after, bunk beds, solar shower, operational kitchen....you know my DIY skills!
So guys: On this Birthday for me, I would like to share with you what makes me happy with this story and ask for your support!
Looking forward to meet you soon for laughs, rice and beans and music!
Every little helps!
THANKS!
:-)
