Dormitory in Mbirdiam, Senegal

Sister Deborah has been working in Senegal on and off for over 10 years. With hard work teaching English as a second language, along with help from friends she has bought land, built a few buildings and planted trees on her property. Her dream is to teach others about the health principles she has learned over the years by hosting training classes at her place in Mbirdiam, Senegal.

Sister Deborah has worked with us in health ministry during our first stay in Senegal. She has helped our family by sharing her home with us for the last six months. She has graciously offered the use of her property for any training we wish to do as well. We hope to continue working together in the future to expand health education in Senegal.

Our family has helped by sharing some of the money that has been generously donated to us to help transform a building on her property into a dormitory. In order to finish the project Sister Deborah needs at least another $4,500 to cover plumbing, electricity and building costs.

These funds will cover the expenses for a first floor. The plan is to have a second floor that could be used as an apartment for someone to help Sister Deborah in her teaching.  This second stage will be started later as Sister Deborah has the available funds.
