VET'S DAUGHTER Needs Our Help

Donation protected
My very dear wife Dorothy suffered a massive stroke in 2015 that changed her entire life.  Dorothy lost all motion on her right side, the ability to speak and write, was motionless from the neck down for  several weeks and could not walk for several months.

A stroke damaged her physically, but her beautiful mind and selfless heart were undamaged.

Prior to her stroke Dorothy was writing a book based on her Father's Diary.  A diary kept by her father Jake during his 3 1/2 year imprisonment by the Japanese in WW II.

Dorothy book was weeks away from submission when she suffered her stroke.

Dorothy also has a passion for helping animals and houses homeless and transitioning pets.

Since 2015 Dorothy has worked tirelessly to regain her motor functions and her ability to speak and write.

After 3 years of rehab, some hard work and intense prayer; Dorothy is now walking , talking and writing again.

All the handwork has come with a severe cost.   Our finances have turned upside down.

Long term therapies and high level medical bills have displaced us for several years.

Prior to her Stroke Dorothy was very independent, always managed her bills & life and constantly gave to others in need no matter the circumstance.

Dorothy was never a person to ask for help, she insisted on being the person that HELPED OTHERS.

She is raising $15,000:

$5,000.00 to publish her book

$5,000.00 to pay off past medical bills

$5,000.00 to save her home

Dorothy Plans to use the money earned from publishing her book to open a shelter for displaced animal, run by Homeless Vets in memory of her father.
