Dory’s Entropion Eye Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Hope and I currently
work in the healthcare field. My dogs name is Dory (nickname Dorsal fin) she’s a Chinese Shar pei. I’ve had her for almost two years now I took her from a family in CA that was going to take her to a shelter if I didn’t come and get her. I never ask for help but this time I really need it. Dory is my daughter along with three other dog children. She is at the
vet at least once a month for her allergies, ear infections, eye problems, Bladder infections, etc. I want her to be able to see and no longer be in pain and discomfort. She is currently on eye medication for life. Entropion is a condition of the eyelids in which the eyelid margin rolls inward towards the eye causing hair to contact the eye. The Entropion has caused her to have pigmentary keratitis which causes her chronic irritation and inflammation of the cornea. If this is left untreated it can lead to blindness. The nearest eye care center for animals quoted her surgery at $4,046.60. She is scheduled for surgery November 3rd if I can get the funds. I hate to do this and am embarrassed but want to get my baby help. I appreciate all the help dearly it means the world to me! Thank you all so so much your all amazing! ❤️
