Hi, everyone. My name is Lisa Wilder. Dottie's husband is my cousin. We've done a lot of life together. Dottie, 35, has left behind five children and a step son. There is no life insurance and she had lost her job due to being so sick she couldn't work. She had been in and out of the hospital for several months. Due to the financial situation the funeral homes are requiring up front payment of $9000 to lay Dottie to rest. While cremation might seem like an option, I feel there would be a lack of closure for her children if this ends up being the only option. I lost my mother when I was 7 years old and the funeral is what helped me understand she wasn't coming home and that she didn't abandon me.
